John’s interest in the jewelry industry is a family thing. His dad, W.T. Brasfield, became a bench jeweler and watch maker in the 1940’s. John was around the trades until he graduated high school and left for college. After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Martin, John entered another field of work for nine years. He returned to the jewelry business with a chain jewelry store for a year and a half. He was then offered an opportunity to work with his family and did so for two and a half years. After his father’s passing John enhanced is bench skills by studying under Master Jeweler Homer Holland.
John opened his doors in Covington, Tennessee on Court Square in 1988. He moved his business to Highway 51 North and is now located down the road on Highway 51 South. John Brasfield Jewelers offers jewelry for all types of occasions for all types of clients. We hope to connect with you soon.
